Below is a shot of emerging potatoes. This section contains two rows each of French red fingerlings, Magic Molly (purple) and Kennebec (white). Each row is planted very compactly and these potatoes will all be harvested as baby potatoes.
Below is a picture of one section of tomatoes. They're a little hard to see with all the mulch. There are 4 rows, each 60 feet long and each containing 20 plants of Amish Paste Tomatoes, except for the fourth row which has only 16 Amish Paste and 4 Cosmonaut Volkov. Wire will be strung between the posts and the plants will be secured to the wire as the season progresses. Waite has two other sections of tomatoes and this year he set out a total of 386 tomato plants.
To the right is picture of five California Wonder pepper plants recently transplanted. These are not from his own greenhouse; a friend gave these plants to him.
