Meet Buddy

Here is Buddy, Waite's dog. He is thirteen years old on July fourth. Waite got him from the pound as an abandoned puppy in August of 1996. He has had a bit of a rough time lately, because his poor joints are not weathering the long Vermont winters well. He sometimes needs to be rescued from playing with the kids down the road because he is too weak to run home. Kinue feeds him glucosamine, which helps, and the backrubs help too. Lewis offers meat from the table. We all want Buddy to live a lot longer. He adds a certain whooooo to the garden atmosphere. Note that before today Buddy had 30 pounds of hair; he's a sexy new Buddy.
