Cider, Wine and Jams

Waite has a cider press and makes hard cider. He often mixes other fruit with the cider, as shown in this picture of some apple/grape cider. Here is a picture of his raising a toast to the bounty of the land as the sun sets. Note the mulched garden and bagged leaves in the background.

Some years he also makes wine, but in 2008 all grapes went into grape jam. His wife does the grape jam. She also makes blueberry jam. In 2008 she made well over 100 pints of jam. He also has two 21-cubic foot freezers that he fills with vegetables every year. Actually, his wife fills the freezers.
