Walla-Walla Onions

This picture was taken July 1, 2008. It shows 4 sections of Walla-Walla onions, about 500 in total. On the far right you can see part of the leeks. On the far left you can see part of the fence holding Oregon Giant peas. Beyond the onions are a couple of sections of beets. In the upper left you can see part of the asparagus patch with about 200 plants. The bare area in the foreground is for later planting of lettuce or short-season (50-day) beans so that harvests can be staggered. In the lower right you can see part of a section of Haricot Vert beans.
